What is the difference between cabinet refacing and completely replacing them?
Cabinet refacing involves keeping your existing, structurally sound cabinet boxes while replacing the doors, drawer fronts, and hardware. We then apply a matching veneer to the exterior frames. Replacing involves tearing out the entire cabinet system and installing brand new boxes and fronts. Refacing is often faster and more cost-effective if your layout remains the same.
How long does a typical cabinet refacing project take?
Most of our refacing projects are completed in just 3 to 5 days, minimizing the disruption to your daily life compared to a full remodel which can take a somewhat longer period of time based on various scenarios.
Can I upgrade my countertops at the same time as my cabinets?
Absolutely. We often pair cabinet refacing or new custom cabinetry with premium stone or quartz countertops through our preferred vendor while, we do in-house laminate and corian countertops to complete the transformation. We coordinate both installations for a seamless experience.
Do I need to empty my cabinets completely before the work begins?
Yes. Everything should be cleaned out and placed out of the way prior to when we begin your project
Are custom cabinetry and refacing options durable for busy households?
Yes. We use premium cabinetry, solid hardwoods and high-quality veneers and laminates designed to withstand daily wear and tear. All our finishes are professionally applied for maximum durability and easy cleaning.
